3ENET

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Privacy is a core feature of 3ENET. 3ENET is operated by DESVY, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, which is responsible for your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

What we collect

Account data: email address, mobile phone number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), language and time zone. Your phone number is used to protect your account and to reach you about security issues; it is never shown on your profile.

Profile data you choose to add: name, headline, location, languages, capabilities, experience, intents and evidence.

Activity needed to run the service: your dashboard, feed rules, follows, connections, saved items, messages and posts.

Security data: sign-in times, IP address and device description for your active sessions and security events.

How we use it

To provide the features you use, to explain recommendations using the information you gave us, to keep accounts secure, and to send the emails you need (verification, sign-in codes, password reset) or have turned on (messages, requests).

We do not sell your personal information. There is no advertising tracking on 3ENET.

Your control

In the Control Center you decide who can see your profile and each section, whether you can be discovered, who can message you, and whether the AI assistant may use your data — it is off by default.

You can download a copy of your data and delete your account at any time. Deleted accounts are hidden immediately and permanently removed after 30 days.

Messages you send us

When you write to us through the contact page or the live chat, we keep your name, email address, organization (if given), your messages and our replies, and the IP address the message came from. We use them only to answer you and to protect the service from abuse.

Answered messages and closed conversations are deleted after 24 months, and messages identified as spam after 30 days. If you have an account, these messages are included in your data export.

Cookies and storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers your language choice and, if you start a live chat without an account, a key that lets you return to that conversation. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Where data is stored

Your data is stored on servers we operate. Transactional emails are sent from our own mail server. If you turn on the AI assistant, only the information needed for your request is sent to the AI provider we use, and only for the data types you allowed.
